• No console errors and using PHP 7.3. It worked with WP 5.4* but not with latest 5.5. Metaboxes simply doesn’t divide under tabs on load, it works only when Im going to a tab and then they are correctly.

    Any ideas?

  • The reason for this problem is not WP 5.5 but plugin Advanced Custom Fields. Just updated ACF from v5.8.9 (no problems) to v5.9.1 on WordPress v5.4.2 and this behaviour did occur too.
Just have tested some more ACF version. The problem starts with ACF v5.9.0.

I remember that this behaviour already did occur previously on our websites. But I don’t know if much older versions of ACF were the reason at that time.

Nice, JochenT! Good find. I will revert my ACF version. But whats the future? I assume ACF have changed something with locations or scripts? How can we get it to work with latest ACF?

I’ve send a support request to ACF. Perhaps they can solve the problem without to much hassle.

I will do a test run soon to see if I can fix it somehow. ACF and plugins alike are always tricky to handle correctly.

    Hi!
Any updates on this? Tabify is quite an unique plugin.

I have been a bit behind on my todo list as you can see. I hope to release an update this month.

Might be that I do a fast release this week to address the easier fixes.

Hi, unfortunately there is still the same issue with conflicting latest ACF. The problem is the same as first post describes ??

Basically something from ACF runs visibility JS after Tabify?
It gets only overridden on initial run, but not after you have clicked tabs.

We haven’t tested things with ACF yet as we wanted to release this version ASAP. We will look into it in the upcoming week.

Hi @codekitchen, appreciated! Have you had any time to look at it?
