  • Yes, I do get notifications when @mentioning, private message, friend request/ group invite request and even when there is an ‘activity update’ I’ve tried using another forum notifier plugin and that works.

But I would really like to use this specific one as (when it works) it performs so much better and it gives me more options. Any further potential causes to this issue?

@gabokappa – Can you post a new thread since your problem isn’t related to the others? Thanks!

@mt78 just sent me his install’s details.

Emails were being sent, however all mail was being sent to the Spam folder.

In this case, I recommend that you set up your WordPress install to send email via SMTP.

    To do this:
    1) Setup an email account that provides SMTP. (Gmail is good.)
    2) Download any SMTP plugin on www.ads-software.com. I’ve used Configure SMTP in the past, but any decent SMTP plugin should work.
    3) Enter in your SMTP details into that plugin and your mail should be sent by SMTP. (If you’re using GMail, the SMTP settings can be found here.) Your email should now be set up to send via SMTP.

Now try and use GES and it should work properly.

Sorry Ray but as I said above, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/not-working-wp-352-bp-172-bb-232?replies=20#post-4430293, plugin doesn’t working.

In erlier BP version was error: “On the page domain.com/groups/group-name/members is a list of group members where is shown their Email status. All users have Email status: No email and admin have Email status:”” empty.”

GES is behaves really strange. Neither plugin P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler), which displays detailed performance statistics of activated plugins, simply GES in the graphs not displayed…

Neither plugin P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler), which displays detailed performance statistics of activated plugins, simply GES in the graphs not displayed…

P3 is not a reliable indicator of plugin performance by default.

The fact that GES is sending out group emails on your site shows that it is working.

@mt78 – I have already communicated to you via email that your problem appears to be a site configuration issue. Once you have accurately determined that GES is causing an issue, let me know.
