• Hello,
I tried so many glossary plugins and finally found the best one!

But there’s one problem in Japanese.
It seems that it detects words in a sentence by separating with non-alphabet characters (space, comma, period, quotation…).

Japanese, though, continues words without any space until the end of the sentence.
As a result, almost all of the words are not detected as keywords.
(Chinese people will be having the same problem.)

    Here’s the example: https://soniqa.net/tooltip-test/

The usability and the customizability of this plugin are really excellent and I’m eager to use this. I hope there’d be an option around this .

    Thanks.

    Hi Plugmon

thank you so much for noticing that, I’m really excited to do something to fix it because this is the first time I heard about this information :

Today Chinese and Japanese are the main scripts consistently written without punctuation to separate words

Thank you sooooooooo much for your world-class quick fix!!
Now it works fine in Japanese.

Yet then there came up another issue.
When there’re some overlapped words like “Baum” and “Baumkuchen”,
In English it works as expected.

But in Japanese there are under bars “__” shown at both ends of the longer keywords.

It’s already usable enough but far more great if fixed.

You welcome Plugmon I’ve just sent you the pro version ??

Concerning overlapping : with the pro version you can exclude one of the two keywords in the keyword edit page.

    Thanks again!
I’m really enjoying using this plugin.

    you welcome ??

Sorry but where is the excluding option?

I can only see “Case sensitive”, “Prefix” and “Youtube Video ID” in the keyword edit page.

At the right generally “Keywords related (KTTG)”
or add it with the top button “screen options”

    (@plugmon)

Now I understand. So do I have to manually block either of them to avoid overlapping and there’s no co-existing both words in a post?

In free version, the shorter words are automatically ignored. It’s ideal.
    The pro version shows both.
It seems to me that the behavior in the free version is better than pro.

And I’m still thinking that the under-bars that are shown only in Japanese is a bug…

    Yes you’r right
fortunately I have fixed it and sent you the new update by mail ??

Thank you so much!!! Yes! It works great!! *:??ヾ(*???*)ノ????:*:
Even greater if compatible with more than triple overlapping though, it’s satisfyingly great enough to use practically.

I really appreciate your rapid work!
