    Hi,

    I read the other threads about this problem. My service is not specific, it is an area. My question in this case still we can not use this plugin?

    {
    “html_attributions”: [],
    “status”: “NOT_FOUND”
    }

    ID: ChIJ4dVEeCbBa0cRhyT4Xu2qkL8
    Name: BG-Design – Honlapkészítés, Weboldal tervezés és webáruház készítés

    Thanks.

    @bmcsmartin77 I’ve check this place and I see you have 3 reviews with the most recent a few days ago.

    I’ll check your details in more detail tomorrow as the retrieved data from the Places API may not offer any reviews. Just leave it with me and I’ll report back.

    @bmcsmartin77 I have added the Place ID (ChIJ4dVEeCbBa0cRhyT4Xu2qkL8) to my development website and receive the same information:

    {
        "html_attributions": [],
        "status": "NOT_FOUND"
    }

    I have checked in the Place ID Finder and I cannot find it listed in the Places database:

    Place ID Search Results

    Please check that your business is listed with Google My Business and it is a specific location; not a coverage area.

    Once you can find your business listed here, searching by the business’s name, you’ll be on track to download your reviews.

    “and it is a specific location; not a coverage area.” – It hasn’t got a specific location it is 100% online business. In this case I can not show my Google reviews on my site?

    @bmcsmartin77 The Google Places API only supplies data for business with a single physical location and those with a result in the Places ID Finder. If you cannot find it there, then you will not be able to retrieve data from the Places API. Consequently, there is no data to use for your reviews.

    If you have any physical presence (i.e. a business registration address), I recommend using this as a basis for your Google My Business listing and you’ll be able to start retrieving data for reviews among other information.

    @bmcsmartin77 Currently, you have a coverage area:

    I see, thank you. It does not make sense Google just provide data for physical location business in 2021.

    Yes because I provide service in these countries.

    In this case I need to use the seat address!?

    @bmcsmartin77 I agree with you. The change last year to restrict to just one physical location was annoying. I understand why some data would no longer be relevant (such as an address), but information such as reviews would be remain valid.

    You’re welcome to complain to the Google My Business team about it. Perhaps if they receive enough feedback, they’ll reinstate the Place API data for coverage areas like yours?

    @bmcsmartin77 I can see your 3 reviews in my development website. You can use your Google reviews through the Places API. ??

    Hi,

    Yes, because I set up the seat address so not anymore coverage area…

    Where can I complain to Google My business team?

    @bmcsmartin77 In the Google Cloud service, you can click on the help icon in the top right to request help and report issues. I’ve used this as a starting point on previous occasions – usually finding a solution to my problem.

    Another way, is through Google My Business support chat – but they may simple redirect you to the Google Cloud support.
