Note about 404 errors (How to Fix)

    Hello!

    If you get 404 “Not Found” after adding some downloads, follow these steps:

    1. Visit WP settings > Permalinks
    2. Do not make any changes, just click the “Save Changes” button

    Done! Now your permalinks have been refreshed and the new rules for Simple Download Counter are added. Try again with your download links, you will find they are working 100% with no more 404 errors ??

  • Thank you so much for this! I was going nuts trying to figure out why it wasn’t working. Recommend adding this note somewhere in the Plugin’s settings pages.
