    Hi,

    Thank you for using WP-Statistics.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this update may have caused and we are working hard to fix all the reported issues.

WP-Statistics v13.0.3 might not be compatible with some of the PHP versions. So if your website is using a version lower than PHP 7.3, please do not update your plugin.

If you access your WordPress Admin Panel, just deactivate the plugin, and install v12.6.13. Otherwise, you can do that through CPanel/FTP. Delete the WP Statistics folder. Then replace it with the previous version of the plugin which is v12.6.13.
To get that version, you can select and download it at the bottom of this page.
You will need to extract the file to obtain the wp-statistics folder if you are doing that via FTP. Then copy this to your wp/content/plugins folder.

However, if you encounter this error:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'WP_Statistics_Updates' not found in /wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php:78
and you do not have any other problem with the plugin, you can ignore it. Because it belongs to our previous version and occurs once, while updating to the new version, and it doesn’t cause any problem.

We do our best to resolve all the issues and release a new version as soon as possible.

Again, we are truly sorry for what happened, and thanks for reporting all the issues.

    Best,

@leogc At least in my test environment, the new update to 13.0.6 did not bring any change. The changelog also does not indicate a corresponding fix. For me, no visit is tracked from version 13 onwards.

    Hello,

The new update to 13.0.6 did not change anything.

    Regards.

I also crashed my database after updating to Version 13.0.6… se my other tread. So manual rollback to Version 12.6.13 (again) and restart of Database to get access to my site again, very bad.

In my case, I found the problem. I blocked accesses to the REST API with wp cerber and only released a few via a white list. Among them, of course, wp statistics. But now I guess the namespace has changed from wpstatistics to wp-statistics as of v 13. I have now added wp-statistics to the whitelist and now wp statistics counts again with the latest version v13.0.7.

This plugin has turned into one big mess. It is a great example of how creators can kill their own product. The only version that does not result in a crash is the pre-13 releases but the visit counter does not work in those versions since there is a cache plugin conflict resulting in THIS. When using the newest version you can only see the top 10 pages on a specific date in the pages section so you cant really get an overview of the pages that people have visited on just one daym and the overview page looks like THIS for me
