    Just to save people time in the future. If you get the following message after updating to the latest download manager:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/57/7889857/html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 12

    Then you’ll need to update your server to PHP v5.3 or above..

    If you are on a shared provider that does not offer this, switch providers, or avoid updating to the latest version.

    PHP ‘namespace’ is not supported pre v5.3.

    I’d like to request to WP that the auto-updates somehow keep extra variables such as PHP version required for this release.
