Note visibility for other Admin users

    Hi, I have a series of notes on my own dashboard and use them to notify of website action. I had assumed that if another WP User with full ‘administrator’ access signed into their dashboard, they also would see the notes.

    I have now found this is not the case, the ‘colourful notes’ I create are hidden from the other Administrator on their dashboard, is there a way to fix this, so they can visually see the notes displayed as they sign in?

    I know they can go to the Dashboard/Notes menu, then see all BUT it isn’t the same as having that vibrant colour note immediately seen on the login dashboard display.

    Although I have searched settings I cannot find a solution if it’s available. Would appreciate your advice?

    Hi Dennis,

    There’s a visibility option (the first icon at the bottom when you hover over a note) that allows for setting visibility for yourself only or everyone; it is a bit limited with that.
    This may help if you don’t allow other users dashboard access.

    Yes it is a little obscure, took me a while to locate the option.

    For others interested it is found by editing a note, then in the first box:Note Options, then lower down you will find a ‘tick box’ =
    For all users.

    Works as described, very happy that my other Admin users can now view notes on their dashboard:)

    Hi Dennis,

    Maybe you’re using a different plugin? as there shouldn’t be a tick box / ‘Note options’ anywhere, here’s the setting I’m referring to; https://imgur.com/fXRv6Te
