  • Thank you for trying out the plugin, and for your valuable feedback.

I see now that we have almost integrated the plugin too closely with WordPress, and it’s not obvious how to ‘find’ the plugin once installed. In fact, the plugin works behind the scenes, and you don’t need to do anything different compared to the normal way you embed media (i.e. you can now embed PDFs in the way you usually embed images).

The only clue we give you is halfway down our main description – here is more info:

Once installed and Activated, click Add Media from any page or post, just like adding an image, but drag and drop a PDF file instead.

When you insert into your post, it will appear in the editor as a ‘shortcode’ as follows:

    [pdf-embedder url=”https://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Plan-Summary.pdf”%5D

The Settings page isn’t really needed for this plugin – it’s left over from the plugin template we used to build it. But as you say, that is one obvious place where the plugin rears its head, so maybe we could use it to reiterate the usage instructions.

    Thanks,

    Dan

I like the idea , But just installed the premium and I get this after the file is inserted ?

Well it will not let me upload a shot of the problem.

But I get a box with script in it that says

    Missing PDF “https://”https:///wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Kleabin_Air_Filter_Program.pdf””.

    Boston Bull,

Sorry – I’ve only just seen this message posted here.

Please could you send more details so I can investigate for you?

Ideally please send me the URL of the page that fails, plus temporary login details if possible.

    Email me on [email protected]

I’ll be very happy to help!

    Thanks,

    Dan
