Yes, name is correct.

The name is case sensitive you know.

I tried to enter a number, generated from findmyfbid.com insead ID. Nothing again. Only shortcode like a text in widget area.

i paste the above mentioned shortcode. I did set up the fb page address but nothing displays on my page excepts a few empty white lines…

I get the above mentioned error on extensions tab ..

It seems that your webserver blocks outgoing requests. The plugin communicates with my server over HTTP via file_get_contents()

Do you have access to the server log files?

I am having this same problem (nothing appears)… I’ve worked through the solutions here, but they haven’t worked:

Already tried:

1. Add [fb_social_stream] to ‘Text’ section (all alone, no spaces) of a page
2. Add add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘do_shortcode’); to the theme’s functions.php
3. Use validator to check page name (have tried several test fb pages: eg. https://www.facebook.com/bbcnews)

Any other suggestions as to why nothing appears?

maybe it is a problem of your theme?

I’ve just tested my plugin with the theme “Twenty Fifteen”, added a Text widget and added the shortcode to it. The Facebook Stream was diplayed immediately.

(WordPress version 4.3.1)

I have the same problem. My page is verified. Where should this feed display? I do not see a code to copy anywhere.
