    Hi guys,

    Using the latest WordPress 6.5.5 with Divi theme 4.26.0, MariaDB 10.6 and PHP 8. Your old 4.2.9 plugin works flawlessly (instant response to toggle and device dark/light theme changes), yet WP constantly complains it is outdated. I have tried every version up to the latest 5.0.7, but now my Divi header image just disappears in the dark mode.

    I will keep on trying your updates, yet why fix it if it ain’t broken? 4.2.9 was light, efficient and working really well. Now it became too sophisticated and not in a good way, IMHO.

    Unfortunately I cannot give you the URL to troubleshoot, but please try to make the core plugin functions work as well as they used to in 4.2.9.

    I totally agree with you, 4.2.9 was everything you have said.

    For some reason every now and again, this Plugin 4.2.9 is Auto Updated to the latest version and my whole site looks terrible.

    I have a staging site which I use to test the updates and every one of them undoes everything so I revert back to 4.2.9.

    I don’t like a outdated plugin sitting on my site, its the free version I am using at the moment as I like to see what it looks like before any plugin and this is really putting me off, as everything looks great and all of a sudden you update the plugin and its a mess.

    Will keep an eye on it and see what happens, its a pity as 4.2.9 looks great

    Could you please create a new thread with detailed information about your issue? Kindly include your site’s environment details, such as theme name & version, WordPress version, plugins, page builder details, and their versions. Please share your site’s URL also.

    Additionally, please provide screenshots with descriptions. It would be most helpful if you could share a screen-recorded demonstration video to show us the issue you are encountering. This will enable us to test and assist you in resolving the issue effectively.
