Nothing happens on batch process

Tried the batch process function. It slowly slid a progress bar across the screen, but no featured images were set for posts that did not already have featured images set.

Upon re-saving an old post that does not already have featured images, the plugin does not set the first image as featured image.

Finally, I created a new post and added an image. Saved post, but no featured image. Featured image was set when post was published, but not when saved as draft.
