Nothing happens after submitting

    Hi, I’ve just installed this plugin, it seems to work fine when I am logged into my website as wordpress admin, however if I am not logged in then when submitting an entry it just sits there with the wheel spinning?
    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    I am running v4.1.1 on WordPress version 4.8.15.

    Hi Tony,
    I see it is making an AJAX request to https://www.radleyvillage.org.uk/installer/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. It seems your site_url or home_url in Dashboard > Settings might be different from what is used on the frontend.

    Is there some custom stuff going on?

    You could have a workaround and not use AJAX in the form settings of the guestbook, but this is a more general problem. Other plugins might run into this problem as well.

    Hi Marcel, thank you for your reply. Yes the site url is different, I’m not sure really how that came about exactly. However I have tried running it in non Ajax mode and it works fine.

    Hi Tony,
    Good that it works for you.

    Please understand that this is a workaround. If you run into problems with another plugin or theme, this site_url will be the first suspect ??
