Nothing happens on button clicks

Really excited to use this plugin, looks to be the perfect solution for GDPR requirements. Installed, configured, and styled as desired… Only problem is nothing happens when I click on the Accept or the Refuse buttons on the frontend. Looks like javascript ought to be either working or throwing errors but neither happens and I see no PHP errors in server log. Wondering if this has been encountered before with your plugin, I am scratching my head as I would expect this behavior to be accompanied by a JS error in console but I have no clues at the moment… any help greatly appreciated!
