I have implemented a new theme on my site. In a staging mode all looked good with FooGallery. However, after launching it appears my FooGallery images have stopped showing on mobile. I am pretty sure it did work for a while.

The theme is Trellis by Mediavine — now in open beta. They have a plugin that does a webP image conversion. That might be part of it.

On the referenced page, I have a gallery that I reduced the image size on and set up to show one column on mobile — in an effort to get it to show. All is fine on desktop, but not my iPhone (or iPad). There is a blank space, but nothing shows.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

    More information.

The theme also has an optimization for “Critical CSS”. With more testing I have determined that is the issue. I am going to research with them first. Will add more content here if needed.

    hey @jeffz8

I also noticed on desktop that the gallery is not showing correctly.

And looking at the console, there are mixed content errors.

Either try to clear the CSS cache from the settings, or Force HTTPS which should resolve the problem.

I am going to resolve this for now. When you have more info from them, then post here and we can continue the investigation if needed

So I worked with the theme developer and it seemed we solved some errors. But I am getting a slightly different issue. On the following page I get “boxes” for the gallery but no images.

BTW, the theme is using a webP conversion and my hosting has a CDN. I have purged and tested a few times with no help.

    Any thoughts>
