• Resolved Linsies List

    (@linsies-list)

This is my first time using Zedity, it seems to have installed properly. However when I go into the page I would like to edit and then click on the Z icon, a box appears. It has Zedity in top left corner but nothing else loads. There are no boxes to drop as shown on the video. I tried using in all 3 browsers IE, Firefox & Chrome which is my main. I get the same outcome. Please let me know if there is something I missed that I need for this plugin to work. I’m very excited to try it once I get it working.

    Hello,
Zedity can work with different User Interface configuration and the one you see in the video has the menu bar to the left, whereas the current version has it on top.

If you see Zedity in the top left corner, then you should see the following menu bar in the top center:

    Page Edit Add Box

If you hover the mouse on Add Box, you can see the various boxes to add, just click on the ones you need and you can start creating your content.

Please let us know if you still have problems in getting started.

I don’t have any menu bar. When I click on the Z icon to access Zedity a blank box comes up with “Zedity” in the top corner of the header. The rest is just a blank white empty box with nothing in it.

Am I missing a another plugin I would need for it to work?

Would it be possible for you to take a snapshot and send it to us at info @ zedity.com so we can try to figure out what can be wrong?
We have never seen that problem, so we need to try to reproduce it.

I have the same exact problem.
I am using the following plugins in my editor: “Page Builder”, “TinyMCE”, “Shortcodes Ultimate”, “WP UI” and “WYSIJA”. One of these maybe in conflict, but everyone should just get along and play nice together. “Why cant we all just get along?” ??

Ok… I followed the advice of another response from the Zedity team, and It fixed the problem. I completely uninstalled the plugin and downloaded the latest version instead of relying on the update to fix the problem. I have not used it as yet, but I wanted to report that it is now up and running.
Below is a link to my success…

    Hi there!

I am still seeing the blank page (as referenced above) even after I reinstalled.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks so much.

    Hello Cordobatsi,

thank you for reporting the problem, which, based on our observation, seems to be due to a sort of rare conflict with some other plugin, preventing the editor from loading at all.
However, we are not able to reproduce it since we do not know which plugin can be involved.

For this reason, we would need the help of the community here.
Anybody having this issue please email us ( info @ zedity.com ) the following information:

    1. list of installed plugins (even just a screenshot of the WordPress dashboard showing them would work).
    2. when the blank window is open, right click on it and select “View frame source” (with Chrome, for example), then select all that output and copy/paste it into a file (please attach it to the email).

Thank you in advance everybody for emailing us those information, that’s going to help the whole Zedity community. As soon as we receive them, we’ll start nailing down the issue.

    Good News everybody!
The plugin causing the conflict has been found (thanks to Pam J. for providing the list of all plugins she had installed, out of which we found the culprit) and a compatibility fix has been included into free version 2.0.0 (and Premium of course). (If you wonder which plugin was involved, that is SEO Facebook Comment. If you’re curios to verify that, you can try to temporarily disable it and see that the problem wouldn’t occur).

All of those affected by this issue, please upgrade to free version 2.0.0 released today (Of course, Premium users got the fix as well in their Premium Profile), and keep on using all your plugins without any problem.

    Enjoy Zedity!
