    Hi,

    We have a suggestion. Can you add new tags on the post page via ‘Bol.com Product link invoegen’ and are the categories empty? If this is the case please review your Bol.com Partner plugin settings and in specific the API Access Key and API Secret Key because then they are not filled in correctly.

    Make sure there are no spaces between the key string, at the beginning and the end of the string.

    Please let us know or this solved your problem.

    Thanks for the reply.

    – I can add new product links, but then also nothing shows up on the page;

    – I’ve copied the API keys again and checked for spaces, same result; nothing to see;

    – I’ve also removed the plug-in and reinstalled, same result.

    At loading the page you see for a second blank images (were the product image should be) and once the page is loaded it’s gone.

    Hi,

    When you see no categories or nothing shows up on the product links page, and at loading the page you see for a second blank image this means the API Access Key and API Secret Key are not filled in correctly. Please check it again and be sure you have the correct settings.

    Hi,

    I’ve already tried that, but it didn’t solve the problem.

    Also, when I try to add a new productlink the image besides “categorie” keeps turning but nothing happens and I can also not select any categorie.

    We checked your website. Since you are sure your settings are set correctly we think you don’t get a valid response from the Bol.com API.

    Please contact Bol.com and ask or they can help you by checking your account.

    Please let us know when your problem is solved.

    After contacting Bol.com they asked me to contact you again.

    If you like I can forward you the email conversation between Bol.com end me.

    It’s still not working and after upgrading to the latest plug-in version instead of getting a blank page, now it says “Fout: Er kan geen verbinding worden gemaakt met Bol.com”

    The same message appears on the plug-in page. When I go to https://developers.bol.com I get the message: “Status OK”.

    To be sure that there is no conflict with other plug-in I’ve deactivated all of them which did help also.

    After e-mailing and checking we found out that the problem was caused by the server settings. This was exactly the same problem as ticket: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-does-not-work-24.

    The solution can be found in that ticket.

    To All:

    I’ve finally got an answer from my provider which is, that they do not allow SSL-certificates on Shared Hosting packages.

    The provider is Strato.com

    This simply means that I have to switch to another provider, my previous supplier did.

    I expected more from a large organization as Strato.

    Anyway, thus before changing provider, check out if they support SSL when using this plug-in.

    I’ve found another way to get the same result as with the Bol.com plug-in but without using the Bol.com plugin.

    For those who are experiencing the same problem as described here, you can use the “Insert HTML Snippet”.

    In this plugin you copy the code generated (for the product link) by Bol.

    Then this plug-in creates a shortcode which you can place on the page or post and you will have the same result as with the Bol.com plugin.
