Nothing is updating, no matter what settings I click on one of my two sites. I have another site and it is working fine. In the plugins for the site that is working, it shows beside every plugin in the list:

Managed by Easy Updates Manager (on).

Whereas in the site that is NOT working I see only this (no matter WHAT the settings are in the Easy Updates Manager).

Both sites have the same version 5.6.1 of WP

Please help! Deleting or deactivating the plugin does NOT help. What can I do? The logs show nothing!

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

From your description, it appears that there may be a JavaScript conflict on the site between Easy Updates Manager and another plugin.

If the two sites share a large proportion of plugins, please could you temporarily deactivate any plugins only found on the problem site?
Does EUM start working with those plugins deactivated?

If not, you can try the same test by deactivating each plugin one at a time.
The last plugin deactivated before EUM begins to work will be the source of the conflict.

Please could you leyt us know the result?

Ok. I have had time to see any differences. I have on both my web sites Easy Updates Manager installed. The settings are exactly the same for WordPress updates and plugin updates.Everything is set to Manual, including Worpress.

I get some common plugins updated, but not others. Specifically, WATU Pro, never gets marked as needing updated in Storybook Peds (https://www.storybookpeds.com) and ALWAYS gets marked and shows as needing an update in Psalm8510 (https://www.psalm8510.com). That was the case just now.

Also, I get a notice that WordPress had automatically updated from version 5.6.1 to 5.6.2 on Storybook Peds and not on Psalm8510, despite the autoupdate settings being exactly the same.

I’ve tried deleting the Easy Updates Manager on Storybook, but then NOTHING gets marked as needing updating. I’ve tried disabling plugins, but to no avail.

This is THE PLUGIN FROM HELL! I WISH I HAD NEVER INSTALLED IT! You don’t document what is being done, and I cannot see which SQL settings are being left corrupted. I wnat this plugin OFF my systems, but now I’m afraid to do anything because the results are totally unpredictable.
