• Whenever I edit my site and push update, either nothing happens OR something happens which I did not even begin to think to do. Icons are rearranged, text or images are misaligned, etc on changes i that arent even related. The latest thing that happened was that I left my site alone for a day and when i came back my homepage was rearranged within some of the site origins. wtf is going on?

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

for example, i just edited every siteorigin widget to fade in while scrolling down with animate it! plugin. None of it works.
Also, whenever I click update to save any changes I make and then I click “view page”, I always get the popup warning that notifies me I’m about to leave the page without saving my changes – no matter how many times i click update and wait for the page to load.
In addition, unintended changes happen throughout editing. For example, I have to keep changing my page attribute to “full width” on my home page because it keeps switching on its own to “default,” which ends up showing a side menu and totally [please learn to use polite words] up the appearance of the entire page.

It doesn’t seem like your site is hacked.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
