Hi, I am getting the error “Notice: Undefined index: cols_count” at the top of my Filter on every page. Someone else had this same issue in the forum a few months back and you told them to ‘resave the plugin’ – what do you mean by this? How can I stop this from showing? Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    HI @mkforde

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

To re-save the widget, navigate to the Widgets page and locate the Filters widget in the list of available widgets. Click on the Filters widget to expand its settings. Click the “Save” or “Update” button associated with the widget without making any changes (alternatively, check/uncheck any option and hit save). This ensures that the widget is saved again with its current settings. After saving the widget, refresh your website or navigate to the page where the error occurs. Check if the error message has disappeared. Re-saving the widget refreshes its configuration and resolves any potential misconfigurations or conflicts, which should resolve the issue in most cases.

    Hi Victor,

Thanks so much for your response. Unfortunately I do not have a widgets section in my WordPress dashboard. I am using Elementor Pro as my theme. Is there another way to fix this?

Since you have a PRO version, please write your request from the purchased account in the comments section on CodeCanyon. And provide the link to the page with the issue so we can check it.

I don’t have Filter Everything Pro, I have Elementor Pro.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. That’s weird because this bug was fixed some time ago, and we didn’t get new reports after it. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin (1.7.14). Also, you can manually download the plugin and update it from the WP Admin dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New, and WordPress will offer you to override the current version uploaded.

Okay, well I am reporting this issue to you now. I have the latest version of the plugin, am getting no option to override the current plugin as it’s up to date. Perhaps I should just delete it and start from scratch?

Yes, you can try completely uninstalling it and installing it again. It should fix the problem

Hi, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, yet the same issue appears.

Please, I would appreciate if you could help me fix this.

    Hi @mkforde

Weird behavior. If you are using a shortcode or filter widget in the Elementor just change the column number and save it or add the column parameter to your shortcode widget so it will look like that – [fe_widget horizontal=”yes” columns=”3″]
