Notice went out 16 times for a draft

I had the same challenge only it was 12 times. And you bet I had some hopping hot customers. Any ideas?

Same thing – getting massive amounts of duplicate emails being sent out. I got reports of 20-24 emails per post.

Thus if more than one person is seeing this behavior this points to BNFW as the culprit.

Just FYI, I had the following email chain:

BNFW
WP-Mail-SMTP
wpMandrill

As I have a membership site that pays for market analysis emails we need to get this resolved asap.

In our case it is for new post notifications.

***Update***

I have two notifications for new posts: one for Members (using Membership plugin) and one for Admins.

I disabled the Members notification but left the Admin notification active then created a new post. For that notification, only one email went out which is the expected behavior.

I’d be interested to see what the other people experiencing this are using in their email chain.

I had just one notification set. email went 6 times to each recipient. BTW set for New Post.

mine was for new post notification.

Reverting back to 1.3.9.2 to see if that resolves the issues. I’ll report back.

Same problem here. Using SMTP2GO smtp server.
Notification for “new post” went 6 times for each recipient.

Just FYI reverting back to 1.3.9.2 solved the duplicate post issue for me.
