Notification box not showing when a status changes

  • Howdy!
    We are having a situation regarding the new update of CF7 with our multi-site installation. Currently, we reverted to the older version to avoid problematics.

    Whenever someone press the Submit button, the notification box would say for exemple:
    – Your message has been sent
    – There is an error, check the field
    But with the newest version, it appears that the box is just not showing at all.

    We looked into it and the only fix I found was these CSS lines:
    .wpcf7-response-output {
    display: block;
    }

    We would like to know:
    – If there will be a fix
    – If there is a way to resolve the problems without modifying the CSS global of many many websites
