    Hi,

    I’m trying to create an notification for a subscription group for all categories in a site. I select each category on the notification creation page (along with filling out the rest of the form), and hit submit. Unfortunately, 4-5 of the categories are not included. The same behavior occurs when I attempt to edit the notification to add these missing categories.

    Is there a limit to the number of categories you can add to a notification? Why isn’t there an “all categories” checkbox? I believe this is a bug.

    Also, why can’t I create a custom title for the notification email?

  • I had a similar issues, unable to add a new category, turns out it was because the category name used an ampersand eg. This & That… even though the slug was this-that ?weird? I wound up just renaming the new category to This and That. hope this helps someone.

    Hi,

    There is no limit for the number of categories you can add to a notification.

    With regards to “all categories” checkbox not present, we will consider adding support for it.

    Can you please tell me why you need to create custom title for the notification email? While composing an email, you have an option to enter a new title for that notification email.

    Please update to Email Subscribers v3.1.5 as it has Check All & Uncheck All button to select all categories while creating notifications.

    unable to add a new category, turns out it was because the category name used an ampersand eg. This & That

    Kindly update Email Subscribers to latest version-3.2.7 as the same (category names having special characters not saving) is fixed in it.
    Let us know if it works correctly after updating.
