    The notification by e-mail has stopped working (set to daily). If I use the new “Email test” it works to get a e-mail. When checking with “WP Crontrol” i see there as scheduled job

    wpvulnerability_notification.

    wpvulnerability_execute_notification()
    wp-content/plugins/wpvulnerability/wpvulnerability-notifications.php:177

    no errors in server logs, debug logs or in php-mail.log

    any idea where there problem could be, bug in the plugin or server/mail issue?

    Thanks for a great plugin.

    It should be fixed with WPVulnerability 3.0.1.

    Updated to 3.0.1 and the issue still exist with no emails sent. Tried on different hosting provider with PHP 8.1.24 with same results that no email sent.

    I will check again, but I just tested in some different sites (with multiple email configurations) and worked fine.

    Do you have an SMTP plugin or something similar?

    Thanks, No SMTP plugin. Its like it never creates the email as just for test purpose i installed “SMTP Mailing Queue” and when I use the “Email test” in WPVulnerability I can see the mail in that plugin and then can release it to send it out and everything works fine. But when run “wpvulnerability_notification” with “WP Crontrol” or wait 24 hours I cant see any email created in “SMTP Mailing Queue” to release.

    Update, tried another cron plugin and to manually start it, it works every time. Just need to figure out why there is a difference between the plugins and why it wont do it every 24 hour by it self. Thanks

    The button forces the creation of an email with some or none data. The cron one, if there is no vulnerability, doesn’t send anything.

    Yes thanks, I have made sure of there is a vulnerability to report for the cron one.

    Got feedback from the other cron plugin with some feedback. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/job-not-working-when-run-now/?view=all#post-17288534

    Found if I use version 2.2.0 of wpvulnerability then its working great. But with 2.2.1 or higher the problem starts for me.
