If an email fails in sending (i.e. status is “failed” in the log), is there any notification that happens (beyond it appearing in the log, if enabled) or options for notification?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there aren’t any options to send a notification for failed emails.

I am considering that as a feature request, the feature request will be forwarded to the R&D team.
We respect our customers’ input and constantly accept feature requests from them, which we pass on to our R&D staff. The R&D team will conduct research and evaluate the feasibility and requirement of the feature. A feature is implemented after all of the tasks have been accomplished. As a result, I am unable to provide you with a guarantee or a timeline.

    Thank you

@amimulihsanmahdi — thanks! That’s a great feature request, though I actually did notice (in case it is helpful for @chridi) that you can have an email sending summary sent to you (under Settings > Fluent SMTP > Settings > Notification Settings in the WordPress admin panel) on any daily to weekly schedule you choose, which will list any email delivery failures (obviously, having the option to only be notified if there are delivery failures and in ways other than email would be even better), and if you don’t get that email, then you know it failed, too.

Hi, I just found this post searching on the web for a WordPress plugin that can send email failure notifications.

This would be a great feature I have over a lot of clients all on WordPress with differenigurations and every now and then (luckily not recently) one will contact me saying their contact form isn’t sending emails, this is a very worrying problem, how long has it not been sending, how many clients have they lost over it etc.

This is normally down to a plugin conflict, caching plugins are big one, being able to be notified instantly if any of those contact forms failed would be a really great feature, and give me peace of mined and set you apart from the others.

I think Post SMTP Mailer plugin offers this feature but I find their plugin seem bit dated and they say have they have a chrome extension for notifications but that leads to a dead page, so doesn’t give me to much confident in their plugin.
