Notification Text modification

Hi, im trying to modify the Notification Text to have <a> links within the text. It will not save with any html tags on the settings page, so im having to modify the plugin files that output the Notification Text which isnt appropriate. Is there a way to modify the text to contain html tags? Like a code snippet for the functions php file? Cant find any in your docs. Thanks.
