Notification topics only in English

That’s something really important, we need a translation file. If it is only avaliable in english I can’t use it for my community ??

Do you use more than one language on the page and a plugin to manage this? WPML especially?

If it is WPML: I do an ajax request and WPML, well, basically doesn’t work well with ajax requests.

to get this straight. You are using one language and in the notificatons of the admin bar it says “blitzegramm” while in the notification of my plugin something else?

“Blitzogramm” is a slug I used for another plugin. I asked why I cannot change “Profile view”? I’ve German users and they prefer German words.

A po/mo file with pot file basic language were great.

My plugin only has one text string: '%s sent you a message'. All other text strings come from BuddyPress and other plugins, who queue notifications in the queue.

But usually, if these strings are translated by the other plugin they should appear translated. This is, what I do not get right now. Maybe we can have a quick Skype talk, where you can walk me through your project, so I get an idea. This is why I propose to contact me through my email and we can fix an appointment.

It’s interesting. It seems that for browser or desktop notifications the translation files don’t grab them. So I thought it has to do with your plugin.

I found another notification service and they got it German language, see https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/ and take a look at https://www.pragabuch.org and wait for the red signal below left.
