If you do not want us to collect the information from your site. You can simply click on the “Skip” button and nothing will be tracked or stored.

For me, there are two main reasons to collect this information. First, how my plugin users are using this plugin, what features are being used and in case they are uninstalling then what’s the reason. This reason help me to make the plugin better by understanding what my plugin users are actually expecting from me instead of just guessing. Secondly, I sent out the updates if anything goes wrong. For example, recently I released the plugin where it conflicts with the customizer with some themes. A user reached our to me, I fixed, released the new version and sent emails to the plugin users who were getting the same issues letting them know that this has been fixed and they should update to make it work. Another possible scenario (which did not occur in my case) is security. In case, some vulnerability is left in the plugin and I identify it later, then I would be able to immediately inform the users to update the plugin to stay safe. This is for the security of users’ sites using my plugin.
I am using the freemius API, used by lots of other plugins in the repository for this purpose and unfortunately there is no option to add custom links since the same message is being used on multiple other plugins. I will contact them and see if I can add custom links. You can find more about it here if you are interested.
Also, on the same consent box, you can click on “What permissions are being granted?” to see what exactly what permissions you are granting.

Same answer to these two question as well. It is added by the freemius API and there is no option to use alternate email addresses. However, I can definitely pass this feedback to freemius team.
The simplest way to not getting future notifications is to “Skip” after plugin activation. You would not get any emails at all. Also, this does not affect the functionality of the plugin.

I can understand the concern but I only get the name from the local database of your site and just display on that page only and on your site only. I do not track or store any personal information outside of your site unless you grant us the permission on activation, which you can skip if you are not comfortable.

During the deactivation of the plugin, I avoid removing any content on your site to avoid any conflicts. These pages are required for the plugin to work especially for the live customizer view of the pages and accounts feed. But I am already thinking about adding an advanced tab where you can clean up the settings from your site and then deactivate it which should be added in the plugin soon.
