Notifications are not being received

Notifications are not being received! The customer receives the online success notice and also receives the Thank You message into their email client, but my client is not receiving any notifications of these contacts. I think he may have been losing a lot of business over this and I need urgently to get this resolved.
Also, no completed forms are being registered in the submissions file.
Please can someone help?
