• Hi. It seems that since the latest update (1.6.9), email notifications are no longer being sent. I’m using a custom recipient address (I’ve tried a few), and the “from” address is an email field from the form. I’m using Advanced Forms v1.6.9, ACF Pro v5.8.12 and WordPress v5.4.2. I’ve made no changes to the form set-up since before the latest update. If anyone could provide any clue as to what might be wrong, that would be great.

    Is it only emails that are failing? Do other features, like success messages and entries, work for you?

    Yes, everything else seems to be working fine. Success messages and entries are working perfectly. It only seems to be email notifications that are not working.

    Could you send a screenshot of what your form field group looks like and your notification settings on the form? I’ll see if I can reproduce the issue!

    As you’ll see I’m using the custom recipient option, with two email addresses (my own, and a colleague’s) separated by a comma. If you need any further information, please let me know.

    Hi, again!

    I tried replicating your setup in my local environment and unfortunately, emails seem to work for me.

    Some questions for you:
    – Are you filling in the compyouremail field during testing? If the “From” field becomes empty that could potentially cause issues
    – Does email sending work for other parts of your site? You can use this plugin to test: https://sv.www.ads-software.com/plugins/check-email/
    – Could you try disabling all other plugins except ACF/AF and use a default theme to see if the issue persists?
