Notifier customers when product is moved from “out of stock” to on backorder?

    Hi, this may be quite confusing to explain but i was just wondering if it is possible to send an email to all subscribed customers when a product status is changed from “out of stock” to “on backorder”.

    When we would like to enable backorders we enable the “Enable stock management at product level” option and then keep the stock quantity at 0. As this is going through different processes would there still be an option to automatically notify customers when this happens?

    We’re sorry to inform you that, as of now, we’re notifying subscribers when their subscribed product status changes from “out-of-stock” to “in-stock” rather than “backorder”. However, we’ve noted your requested feature and will consider implementing it in an upcoming version as per its feasibility.
