    Hi Tizia,

    Yes, BD supports this and many other notifications. They are all configured under Directory Admin->Manage Options, Email tab.

    In that tab, you can add additional field codes into the email that allow you to customize the content, including adding links to the listing.

    Thanks, but I see only the options for notifications sent to the Author… Is there a way to style also the mail sent to the Admin, to notify that there is a new listing waiting to be approved?

    Hi Tizia,

    Look under the email tab for “Notify admin via e-mail when…” and there are 4 different options under there, including “New listings submitted”

    If you have the directory set to put new listings into pending status, this will notify the admin there are listings to approve.

    What I want to have in the notification sent to me (the admin), is a direct link to the listing that I must approve.

    Hi Tizia,

    Looking at the settings, we publish the link on the user side, but apparently not the admin one (and don’t have a template to edit, either).

    I’ll add that to the list of things to change for the future. That’s a good idea. Thanks!
