notify group of level members when new post is published

    Hello there guys, first of all thank you for the awesome plugin :).

    I want to make a platform where user have to paid to access the content (your plugin does that beautifully), but I also want to notify by email when I publish a new post on the category that belongs to the member group.

    example:

    I have two groups of membership: dogs, cats.
    Then I have to category, each points to the group membership.

    Anytime I post about dogs, I want the members of the group dogs to receive an email about the new post or the content of the post.

    Is that possible?

    Hi,

    To do something like this would require some 3rd party plugin or service. We do have an integration with MailChimp that site owners can use to specify unique audiences for each membership level.

    Hello there Kim,

    thank you for the quick response. The addon you mention wont notify members as I post new content on the website, I would need to manually send a notification.

    there is another way of doing that?

    MailChimp has an RSS feature you can use to create a new campaign and send to users in a list. This may be the best approach.
