Notify Post Author when someone comments on a Post

Hello,

Is there a way to notify the author of a post when someone comments on the post?

The author of the post doesn’t necessarily have to have the “Post Author” role. I have few custom post types (online courses, lessons, etc) and their authors have a role called “Instructor”.

So if any student comments on any course or lesson, I want my instructors (post authors) to be notified about the comment.

And yes I have multiple users under “Instructor” user role. Each of them has several custom type posts under their name.
