Notifying Post Contributors of New Comments on Their Post

    I run a blog and have my post authors set up with the contributor role. I am wondering how I can set things up so they get notified when there are new comments on their posts?

    They should be notified automatically as soon as a comment is approved.

    If authors are not getting notifications, they may need to check their email client’s spam folder. Automated emails from web servers are often treated as spam. With some email clients, filtering notifications prevents them from being treated as spam. YMMV
