    Hi Margarit0,

You’ll need to get me more details about the problem. What settings are enabled, who did you expect to receive the notifications, who were receiving before it stopped working?

The more info you get me, the faster I can figure out the issue.

Hi Vinny, thank you very much for your fast answer.

Before the users that be subscribed to the topics reeived the emails with the link of the topic. Now they do not received it.

You can see the settings I have here:

Margarit0, ok, so you have my plugin installed on a different site and only hosted the screenshot on your wordpress.com site, right? Or is it available for wordpress.com (news to me!).

Anyway, why do you think the messages aren’t arriving? I noticed you don’t have notifications being sent to authors. Perhaps you’re checking your own email for your own notification and assuming it’s not working because you’re not getting notified?

Try installing WP Email Log to keep a copy of what is being sent to confirm if it’s really being sent out or not.

    Cheers,
    Vinny

Please create a temporary admin admin account for me using vinny [at] usestrict [dot] net so I can have a look at your settings. Did you install WP Email Log as I suggested?

    Hi Vinny,

My hosting have a problem with the emailserver, I think that is the reason. Because I use the domain address email.

I will wait some hours to see if it is the error.

Than k you for your help, I will tell you something about, ok?

Are you using Godaddy email servers? I read that they’ve been having trouble lately.

    Yes, it is.

I strongly recommend switching your outgoing mail to mailgun.com. It’s free for up to 10k messages/month.

    Cheers,

    Thank you Vinny.

I prefer that BbPress works again. I have installed the plugin “WP SMTP Mail CONFIG” and with check php mail the test email has sended. But BbPress do not work yet. I ask to the hosting that open a ticket to resolve it.

    Do you have an idea?

My domain and Ip are not in any Blacklist and the email for restore password is not sended, that means that is an error of the server i have read in other site.

    Best regards

Install WP Email Logging plugin to see if the messages are making it out of WordPress. That’ll help you find out if the problem is within the plugin logic or somewhere after it leaves WP.

Setting up Mailgun is a really good idea. You’ll still use whatever you use to receive messages, but your WordPress will send messages via Mailgun, with click tracking, delivery logging, and all sorts of goodies.
