Now I cannot even uninstall the theme…

I’ve been tring for days to get the WP theme TwentyTwelve to work. I actually had created a static page as well as a blog page; and I had some text on the static page.

In my attempts to get the side menu (right side) to show two categories (“What inspires you?” and “Spiritual discussions”), I winded up with no right side at all and my text, which had initially been on the left side was now covering the entire page.

Since I’ve been so frustrated with attempts to get the hyperlinks to work correctly (and now no right side for categories), I uninstalled that theme. I figured I had just added so much in so many different places that I must have simply messed it all up…even wording I placed weeks ago winded up where I had no idea they would.

So I uninstalled that WP theme thinking I will reinstall it and start fresh; however, now it won’t even uninstall.

I really want to use WordPress to create 3 blogs and a store; but if I cannot understand what the themes are doing, I don’t see how I can. Is there any help? (I’ve actually gone thru many of the tutorials; and they seem clear enough. That is why I was able to do as much as I did on that blog. However, when it came to the hyperlinks, they winded up where I didn’t think they were going; and I have no idea how to get them off… or now how to uninstall and start over.) I sure hope some patient person can address these concerns with me.
