NS Cloner not working after upgrade to PHP 8.0

  • We have a multisite on WPEngine and using NS Cloner for a long time. But we upgrade our multisite to PHP 8.0 and just find NS Cloner stop working.

    The issue I notice is when I enter the URL for “Give the target site a URL” under the “Create New Site” section. It supposes to check if the URL is a duplicate one, but it is hanging and running forever. Please see this screenshot. If I click on the “Clone” button, it is running and never finished.

    Please help!

    Hi there, an absolutely fantastic plugin, but having problems now after upgrade to PHP 8.0.

    Two run examples:

    – 1st with WP v.6.1.1: Users and the Divi theme are not cloning across from the original site

    – 2nd run reverted back to WP v6.1: This time Divi theme does come with the site clone but no users (once i add my super admin only then can i see the site in the Network Admin menu), also my custom font is missing and quite a few Divi settings.

    Last time i ran the cloner it worked beautifully, a month or two ago, only the custom font settings didn’t clone but that was a minor thing to change. We are considering the pro version but not sure of it’s compatibility?

    Same problem under php 8.1 the clone initiate a website but don’t process more clone theme plugin etc…. like a basic wordpress site

    i’m in worpress multisite
