NTP Lookup – Configurable?

    We see a lot of NTP requests made from WordFence. I understand why these happen, but in my case I block most outbound traffic so these just create a lot of noise in the FW logs. I have my own NTP servers.

    It looks like the use of 0-3.pool.ntp.org is hard-coded into the plugin. Is there any way to change the NTP servers used, or preferably disable the NTP lookups altogether?

    Hi @lgretton, thanks for your question.

    Currently, the NTP lookups cannot be disabled, but I have found a development ticket updated last week that states the intention to add this functionality as part of our ongoing product updates.

    Naturally I cannot commit to a specific timescale on the forums but please keep an eye on future Wordfence version releases for mention of this feature.
