    Hi,

Before, when a visitor requested a 404 page, you can open/download a log to see the links that were tried to be opened. Right now, the link to open/download this report returns a “null”. There’s no link.

    Is this a bug?

    Hello TFolder,

Thank you for using our plugin. In the last version we fixed an issue related to the 404 errors log file. Basically when the log file generation was switched off, the log file was still being generated.

Could it be that you have the option disabled now, so it is not being generated? Can you please confirm if the setting is on or off? And can you manually check the location to see if the log files are being actually generated?

The log files are generated in the /wp-content/uploads/wp-security-audit-log/404s

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello

Same bug here, Logging option have no effect.

In my /wp-content/uploads/wp-security-audit-log/404s repertory, I have no new files since February 8.

    Hello Jocker,

Can you please check the file logging settings from the Enable/Disable logging and let us know what they are? Can you try disable and reanabling them please? Here is more information about the settings: https://www.wpsecurityauditlog.com/wordpress-user-monitoring-plugin-documentation/logging-404-requests-urls-logfile/

Thanks, it works now that I found the option, thanks for the link
