• We offloaded the images from our site to Cloudflare then number of indexed pages are doubled now and it is wasting crawl budget. how to avoid that please. We already have Disallow: */cdn-cgi/

    but still its indexing and wasting our crawl budget.

    how to avoid that.

    Hi @wyamout,

    I’m not a SEO expert, so not 100% sure if this helps, but maybe you need to set Disallow: /cdn-cgi/ instead of the Disallow: */cdn-cgi/, this is how it’s done in the Cloudflare docs

    Best regards,

    Thanks Anton

    Thing is its also getting indexed the crawl block doesn’t help. Weird.

    @vanyukov Quick question if I have been using the plugin for a while. If I turn it off will my site images break?

    @wyamout,

    If you haven’t done “full offloading”, then you can safely disable the plugin. If you want to complete remove it, do bulk remove from the plugin settings – this will remove all the images on Cloudflare, disable the plugin and remove via WordPress – it will clean up and remove all the remaining database entries. If you did do “full offload”, you’ll need to individually restore those images from the media library first.

    Best regards,
    Anton
