Number of posts on front page

    Hello,

    Currently, my site, https://www.getyourfilmfix.com, has 10 posts showing on the front page an regardless of what I change in the reading settings section, that stays the same. I want to have fewer posts on that front page.

    I’ve seen some threads regarding adding php codes to templates to make this change, but I haven’t gotten a very clear step by step guide on how this might be possible to change.

    does your theme have any options for displaying posts? you might be able to set the number in there…

    Easel them has its owns option, at “appearence” menu, you click “easel option” and in the “general” tab its the first option that can reduce your number of posts per page.

    which facebook-twitter etc connect and facebook like button plugin do you use at your site?

    It looks like you have a ready made theme… right… if its ready made then u must have options in your theme options if available check out for them…

    Easel has the option in the appearance -> easel options to change the post count on the home page. Which is different then the search/archive amount # from the settings.
