Number of products get doubled after translating product

    I have 200 products in my shop (all out of stock, for dev purposes).

    After translating them to second language by duplicating all of them in translation management, I get to see 400 products in the WP Dashboard that are out of stock instead of 200.

  • Thank you for reporting this.
    It seems that the value shown in the dashboard includes the count from the translations as well.
    It is purely cosmetic issue – I will bring this to the attention of our developers.

    The issue should be fixed in the next release.

    The changelog for 3.9.1 says:
    Bug fix: and incorrect value for products out of stock was show on the dashboard

    I installed 3.9.1.1 and I can verify that this bug has NOT been fixed with this release.

    I stand corrected. After installing the update, the dashboard will still display the wrong information (twice the amount of products), but after adding a product the dashboard displays the correct information.

    Thanks for the update. That information must have been cached.
