Number of recent prayers

    I found in one of the threads about the option for certain amount of prayers to show.

    I’m trying to run this as a widget in my sidebar (which works great) but the list just keeps growing and I’d like to be able to limit it in that sidebar. Say to show 5 or so.

    Can anyone help as to how exactly the short code needs to be entered?

    The below is what I found, but cant make it work.

    recent=”#” – Lists certain number of most recent prayers

    An early version of the plugin did use the shortcode parameter of recent=”#”. This has since been replaced with count=”#”. By default, the most recent are shown unless random=”true” is also set.

    There was backward compatibility for a while, but must have lost it along the way.
