    Hello,

We use the BasePress plugin to create a knowledgebase. If the number of Sections Columns is e.g. 4, there are 3 columns displayed. It is the same for e.g. 3 or 5 Sections Columns in settings; there is always one column less displayed.

There seems to be space for the missing column, so I wonder what I could try to have the missing column displayed. Could it be something in the configuration of the Modern Theme we are using, e.g. Custom CSS?

Unfortunately, I cannot enable access to the page with knowledgebase (we use the Members plugin to restrict access to the page), it contains confidential information.

    Thank you.

This shouldn’t really happen. As number of columns has nothing to do with whether a particular section will be shown or not. That said, please check There’s knowledge base columns setting in wp-admin > basepress > settings > appearance settings. and see what happens.

If that doesn’t solve, try changing to default WordPress theme and see if that causes this. Or maybe some other plugin conflicts with this?

I might have described the problem incorrectly. It is not that some sections are not shown; all of them are shown. The problem is that sections are shown in 3 columns with settings specifying 4 sections columns. However, it seems that there is space prepared for the 4th column, see the screenshot in my original post, it just stays blank and sections are not shown in this column. This is what happens if the number of sections columns in settings is 3:

This happens in both Chrome and Edge; I made sure the browser window is wide enough, not limiting the page width.
