• Hello!
I have the following problem with one of my sliders:

the number of slides shown is not correct on desktop, I put 3 but I see 6 and 1/2; if I scale down the browser a little, the slider modifies and the number becomes correct.

The strange thing is that I use same slider in another page also, and there is all correct.

Please, could you helmp me to solve this problem?

Try ticking the “DOMContentLoaded event” checkbox (under “Other Settings”).

Hmm, when you resize the window it initialises the slider and the number of slides are set to 3. Are you running any optimization or cache plugins? As a test try disabling these plugins (it could be a setting within one of these plugin ‘combing’ Javascript files for optimization)

    Hello!

    Thank you for your suggestion.

I disabled Wp Super Cache and Autoptimize, but it is the same…

Well I would look at your theme options – under optimization settings. Try disabling any optimization settings to see if there is an optimization setting causing this.

The slider does load correctly if you resize the browser window (or right-click and select ‘inspect element’) – so this does appear that something (javascript) is not loading on your site/theme until the very end (after SA loads), and this sometimes happens with optimization plugins or theme optimization settings in an attempt to improve page load times.

    Hello!

I disabled all possible caching and optimization services, but the result is the same.

I noticed that if I have two different sliders in the same page, they work correctly!

Could it be a conflict with WP Bakery?

    As a test…
What happens when you put the Slide Anything shortcode into a page built using the standard WP Editor (not Visual Composer)?

    Hello!

Thank you for your reply. If I use the standard WP Editor, it works correctly. It’s seems to be a conflict with WP Bakery…do you have any suggestions?

    I’m not sure.
I know with the Avada theme, there was a setting called “Container Type” within it’s builder settings that we had to set to “Legacy”. This setting took some digging to find – see here.

Maybe there is some sort of similar setting in your theme or page builder – what I would suggest is going through your theme or page-builder switching on/off settings and testing to see if and of these resolve the issue.
