Number of Slides

Three slides are enough to run the slider correctly. The image size should be 640 x 426. Make the slides, click on save button and close the customizer. You will get the slider running correctly.

Is it possible to add more images? Ideally I’d like to have 9.

Same as Tini21 I get a blank square(s) that says image if I don’t use all 8 images.

Slider shows that there are a total of eight empty slides. You just have to make the slide one by one whatever you want. You don’t need to make all eight slides if you don’t want. The empty slides only appear while customizing the site. As you click on Save button and close the customizer you get the slider with only the slide that you have created and not the empty slide. I have updated the theme yesterday. I have given the option to make upto twenty slides in the upcoming version. It will be available soon.

I have also had this issue. I only recently installed the theme, does this mean I have to re-install it? I only want 3 slides and when i have adjusted the images to the size you specified above, it is still showing IMAGE in a box as to say I need to replace the extra slides.
