Number of thumbnails

Hello!

I have 2 questions/issues regarding RGG usage:

1. Is it possible to display less thumbnails than there are images in the gallery? What I would like to achieve is: there are four thumbnails displayed on the website; when either of them is clicked, the lightbox opens up and it is possible to view all images from the gallery.

2. Is it possible to display the galleries separately? I have three of them on my website, eight photos each. When I click any of the thumbnails it opens up a lightbox that displays images from all the galleries instead of the one I want to view.

It is a very useful plugin and it would be great if I could customize its settings a bit more.
