Number of ticks per page using list mode

There really isn’t any way to do this with the default ticker. It’ll just display however many ticks you have created for the ticker.

Because I am using the ticker as a news section on a website and there is mroe and more news which I am adding, but at the same time I dont want to remove the old news. Is there any work around that I can limit it to 15-20 news and the rest to be SEE MORE or something like this.

What you could do is change your ticker mode to Mixed. Then create 15-20 different ticks there. Set the type of each to Default, and the set the offset starting from the top 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc… all the way to 14 or 19.

Now, when you ticker displays it will only show the number of ticks you have added here. Then when you want to add more ticks switch back to Default Mode, add new ticks to the top, then switch back to Mixed mode and save.

So, this requires that your default tick order is newest (top of the list) to oldest (bottom of the list).
