• Very excited about this plugin’s flexibility and ease of use! Unfortunately, when I use it the footnote numbers at the bottom show up superimposed on each other. 1 & 8, 2 & 9, 3 & 10, 4 & 11, 5 & 12, etc. I have turned off all of my other plugins & flushed cache. The numbers appear the same whether I have 2 or 5 footnotes. My theme is Customizr Pro and I’m using WordPress 5.4.1 . See under “sources & footnotes” on [ redundant link removed ]

    Thanks.

If you look at my page again you’ll see that I’ve now recreated it by adding more than 9 footnotes on. I’ve then switched out themes and, sure enough, it doesn’t happen with any other theme other than Customizr.

I cannot see any fault with my plugin here as those numbers are not styled by me – I suspect what has happened here is that the theme has made design decisions on how ol tags are displayed and that has affected how they’re being output in my plugin.

If you look at the top of my example post, I’ve also added in a numbered list – so how this displays correctly. However, the numbers are a different style than those seen in the footnotes – I’m not doing anything there to style either. The difference is down to the theme, showing that it’s doing something specific with the output.

As you have the Pro version of the plugin, you can’t use the forums here but will need to use the support offered by the developer, here: https://presscustomizr.com/support/.

If the developer wants to discuss it further in this thread, then I’m happy for them to jump on it ??
